About Dartmouth Entrepreneurship Network Business Plan Competition:

DEN DC Business Plan Competition
Sponsored by the Dartmouth Entrepreneurship Network (DEN) in Hanover, NH, the DC chapter of DEN will be hosting a business plan competition, the final winner of which will receive $50,000. All current and former students of Dartmouth College (undergrad, business, engineering, medical, the arts, and science grad schools) living and working in the DC area are invited to participate.

This newly-established program will host mentoring and networking events, and a host of on-line tutorials on how to create and finalize a winning business plan. A panel of entrepreneurs and alumni will judge the submissions in mid-April, the winner of which will be invited to participate in the national competition in Hanover, NH in early-May.

With this innagural competition, we hope to be able to 1) help new business affiliated with Dartmouth validate their plan, attract team members, and of launching companies in order to get more indiciduals excited about starting business network with entrepreneurs and VCs; 2) promote openness and learning about all aspects; and 3) the evangelize the Dartmouth brand and associate it with entrepreneurship.
