and DEN Friends - wherever you are!

The Tuck School of Business and the Dartmouth Entrepreneurial Network (DEN) are again

pleased to offer members of the Dartmouth community an evening mini-course, "Introduction to Entrepreneurship," designed to provide basic education in commercialization of technology, the nuts

and bolts of entrepreneurship, and the starting of new business ventures. This course will be offered 

online during winter term 2013.



On your laptop  



Tuesday evenings, starting January 8th and concluding March 5th

4:45 - 6:45 pm ET 



Dartmouth alums, faculty, staff, students and DEN friends.



There is no tuition charge, this is a free course to Dartmouth alumni and DEN Friends.

This course will address fundamentals in major areas of conceptualizing and launching a  

successful new business, including:


- Concept development

- Business plan development

- The need and the market

- Team building

- Business models and execution

- Financing strategies

All registrants will receive a confirming email on January 4th with logistics about the course, 
a link to the syllabus so you can read about topics covered during each session,
speakers, and suggested readings (readings are optional for auditors).

Weekly, you will receive a link one hour prior of each session so you can
login via WebEx (PCs and Macs) and audit this course online.

And, in case you miss a session or if you can't make the 4:45 pm ET start time, each session will be recorded  (point and shoot quality, no videographer).  Each recorded session will be posted
to the online syllabus the next day, and the link will be active for 2 weeks.
