Arush Chandna

is a Senior Analyst on the Corporate Strategy & New Ventures team at EAB (formerly known as The Advisory Board Company), which is a higher education technology and consulting firm. His team is responsible for defining the firm’s growth strategy and during this tenure at EAB, Arush has worked on a wide range of projects including market entry, go-to market, and product strategy engagements. Arush first got associated with DEN as an Associate when he was a student at Dartmouth. He was also a recipient of the Wild Initiative Grant, a DEN initiative to support students interested in interning at start up companies. Arush holds a Masters in Engineering Management from Dartmouth College.

Greg Hallisey

is Founder and President of Henley Strategies Group, LLC, a provider of advice for is Founder and President of Henley Strategies Group, LLC, a provider of advice for emerging and public companies in expansion and acquisition strategy.  Greg helps companies optimize profitable growth.  Whether it is startups experiencing hyper-growth or mature industry leaders experiencing stagnating markets, he generates results by developing and executing transformational strategy.  His expertise includes techniques in product or service innovation; new technology commercialization; market, geographic, and product line expansion; cross-border M&A; P&L management; and operational restructuring.  Previously Greg worked in increasingly responsible positions in strategy, finance, business development and M&A for a diverse range of industry leaders, including Raytheon, Eaton, LG&E Energy, PepsiCo, and Citicorp.  Greg also worked on Capitol Hill and in emerging market venture capital investing in Warsaw, Poland in the early 1990s. Greg has a BA with Honors in Economics and Organizational Behavior & Management from Brown University and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

 Justin Hinh 

is a Product Developer at Fannie Mae, creating new ways to finance affordable homes and new types of property. His recent endeavor was looking at Tiny Homes as a way to create affordable homeownership. He describes himself as an ex-political, having gone to DC initially to work in politics and government. After a stint on Capitol Hill, he left to create Vice Price, a data aggregation platform helping the alcohol industry better target their ads to consumers. Justin can be found studying materials to better understand how our financial system works.

Daniel Krawec 

is Product Manager at Upside Travel, a new way for the unmanaged business traveler to purchase and experience business travel. At Upside, Daniel managed the pre-purchase growth product with the goal of “10X-ing” the qualified user base, before shifting over to his current role running the core eCommerce experience. Previously, Daniel spent two years at Fidelity Investments developing digital financial planning products and service models to enable investors to establish financial goals, and build plans to achieve them. He got his start in strategy consulting at Fidelity Investments, working on projects in financial and robo advisory, workplace and health savings, and operational efficiency and process improvement. Daniel graduated Dartmouth College with a Cognitive Science major and International Studies minor, and is excited for where exploring entrepreneurship through DEN DC will take him.

Hope McIntyre 

is a Data Scientist at Storyblocks, a stock media start-up, where she supports the Data and Search Team. She graduated from Dartmouth College in 2011 with a B.A. in Engineering and Public Policy. She also holds Bachelor’s of Engineering (B.E.) with a concentration in Applied Mathematics from Thayer Engineering School and a Masters of Data Science from the University of Virginia. 

John Rollins

is a serial technology entrepreneur with four startups to date. He taught the entrepreneurship course in the GW School of Business from 2001 to 2010. In 2008 he founded the GW New Venture Competition and served as its Director until 2015. By then it had grown significantly and was among the top 5 largest in the country. Rollins served on the GW School of Business Board of Advisors from 2000 to 2011 where he served as Vice Chair. 

After founding AZTECH Software Corporation in the punch card era, Rollins served for 30 years as CEO and Chairman as the company reinvented itself five times and grew to be the largest software firm in the national non-profit space. In 2003 Rollins founded and served as Chairman of StreamCenter, Inc., an e-learning video production and streaming enterprise, where he was CEO from 2008 to 2010 when it was acquired by a national media firm. He has also served on several national, regional, and community non-profit boards. These include the National Park Trust (Board Treasurer), MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center (Board Chair), and the Perry Street Prep Public Charter School (Board Treasurer).

Rollins earned his MBA at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He and his wife live in DC.

Akin Sawyerr 

is the Founder & Chief Strategy Officer of Market Atlas. He leads the firm’s strategy, product development, and partnerships. He spent the first fifteen years of his career in management consulting and the corporate world. He engaged public sector clients at Booz Allen Hamilton and Accenture in Washington, D.C., and held strategic positions with Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae. Akin started his career at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Washington, D.C., in the Technology and General Services Group. He led analytical research projects in support of IMF member country strategies. He also serves as a Non-Executive Director of Splash Mobile Money, a mobile payments company in West Africa. Akin holds a BA in Economics and Political Science from Union College, and an MBA from Dartmouth College.

Matt Sturm 

lives in DC and is an artist and entrepreneur. His art work is at mattstormphoto.com, and in the startup world, he was most recently the Head of Business Development at Illustria, a startup creative agency in DC.  Matt has served on the DEN DC board since 2016, and is also a mentor in business development at the 1776 incubator. Matt is also a passionately involved member of DC's transgender community. Matt holds an AB from Dartmouth in both Studio Art and Asian and Middle Eastern Studies, and a Core Credential from Harvard Business School Extension, having taken courses in business analytics, financial accounting, and economics for managers.

Kyle Teamey 

works for In-Q-Tel, which provides strategic investment in early stage companies.  Previously, Kyle was the CEO and co-founder of Liquid Light, where he developed the company from lab concept to a leader in the carbon dioxide utilization space, raising twenty-five million dollars in equity funding as well as through non-dilutive grant and development funds from governments and Fortune 100 companies. Furthermore, he closed a deal with Coca-Cola to make their PlantBottle with Liquid Light’s technology.  Kyle has worked at DARPA, where he developed and fielded TiGR situational awareness software, which was later acquired by General Dynamics.  Additionally, he co-founded and was managing director for Dunia Frontier Consultants, which provides advisory services to individuals and groups investing in developing countries, principally in the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia.  For six years, Kyle was an active duty officer in the U.S. Army. Kyle holds a BA in Engineering from Dartmouth College, a MS Materials Science from Columbia University, and a MA in International Finance from Johns Hopkins SAIS.

Mark Zimmerman

heads up Dexter Solitions’ never-ending efforts to leverage design,  manufacturing and service technology in anticipation of ever-changing demands in the hospitality and retail markets. With over 30 years of experience in media, marketing, technology, publishing, and global operations, Mark’s leadership has infused Dexter Solutions with a company-wide focus on the highest standards of quality, service, and execution. Mark can most often be found spending time with Dexter’s clients and crafting solutions to new challenges, from mastering the interaction between brand messaging channels to enhancing global branding compliance to redesigning product and supply lines for maximum customer and cost impact. He graduated from Dartmouth College and remains actively involved in Dartmouth alumni affairs. He is a frequent speaker at media and marketing industry conferences and very engaged in community efforts to assist individuals with developmental disabilities. He and his wife Donna have four children.
